Adoption Story
As a former foster mom, Barney was one of my first fosters. I saw him on the volunteer page and something about him made me want to save him. He came to us with heartworms, so he spent more time with us than most fosters, while he completed his treatment. We fell in love and he stayed. He is a quirky looking, silly Momma’s boy who is getting older and slower now, but he we love him tons are very happy to have been lucky enough to have him in our lives! HAL has brought 3 dogs into our home to stay (and close to 100 fosters) and we can’t thank them enough!
