The toy hippo in Daisy's mouth is treated as if it was her actual baby. She carries it everywhere. It has a squeaking device inside and when it's squeezed she thinks it's crying so then she cries while trying to save it. After saving it from harm she hides it under her body and lays on it or hides it in the fold of the couch.
