Adoption Story/Horse Bio
Jasmine was surrendered to SPCA and then given to a horse rescue. She came from a bad situation and ended up with back injuries that prevented her from ever be ridden. I adopted her with the understanding that she would never be ridden. D’Artagnan is an off the track thoroughbred who ended up in a lesson program being used as a jumping horse. A tendon injury ended his lesson career so he came to me where he is no longer ridden. They both now have a barn to sleep in and spend their day grazing on 40 acres, which they share with sheep, ducks, chickens, cats, dog and fish.
