Hi I'm Harry,
A few months ago I was living under a dumpster near a construction site with my mom and two sisters. One day a nearby farmer caught us. He decided to keep my mom as she was a good mouser and they could use help in the barn. An older lady adopted one of my sister's and I've heard she is doing well. A nice family adopted me and my other sister. They named us Harry and Meagan. Not sure why? I'm a ginger and my sister has beautiful long dark hair, she looks like our mom. I wonder if I look like dad? My other sister is white with grey tips on her ears and tail.
When we first moved in we found a great place to hide. It was in a big wooden desk. We were small enough to climb under and then behind to get in the drawer. Our new family couldn't find us and thought we had gotten outside. I think they were glad we hadn't because they put a soft warm blanket in our new hiding spot.
My new family is great, we get lots of food and treats. We have lots of comfy places for naps, but my new favorite place is the big bed. We are inside cats but we have a screened in porch that we play on. There are lots of bugs to hunt on the porch and my sister has caught a few. We both like watching the birds fly by and taking naps in the sun. There used to be plants on the porch but my dad moved them somewhere, I think to give us more room to play.
I have been to the Vet 3 times already and they say that I'm healthy and growing really well, probably because I love my food and get a lot of exercise with my sister.
Some of our favorite games are hide and hunt, wrestling, climbing and ball. We have a soft orange ball that we carry up and down the stairs.
We used to wrestle on these really nice chairs but I haven't seen them in a while. Maybe they weren't comfortable to sit on. Oh well we have more room for racing.
My new family used to have older cats that lived here. Yoko, Thor and Phillippe. I've been told that my sister and I have the same colour of fur as Yoko and Thor and our other sister has similar colour as Philippe. That's quite a coincidence. I was also told that Thor liked to announce dinner time. I've been doing my best to keep that tradition going. It seems to be going over well because after my announcement dinner soon follows. Meaghan has started her own tradition by rubbing against dad's leg. He gives us some treats from the box he keeps on the table,that rattles when he shakes it.
We love our wet food,but we always have a full bowl of kibble for snacking.
