Your Pet's Story or Bio
My name is Bruce, or Bru, or Brucey, or Brutus, or bub! My mom calls me all these names, but most of all she calls me her everything!

I used to be a barn cat, but a local rescue recognized I wasn’t happy as a barn cat and rescued me, neutered me, and set me up with some foster parents.

It was only a couple of days until my adopted mom found me, and brought me to my furever home. There I met two other fur brothers, and we became fast friends. I couldn’t believe how much FOOD there was!

I wanted to eat anything and everything, and I still do! My fave foods are mushrooms, seaweed, corn, watermelon, pineapple, and of course all the cat treats one can imagine!

I love to go outside for walks on my leash and visit with all the neighbourhood people and dogs! Everyone stops to say hi to me and give me some good belly rubs and head scratches, and if I’m lucky treats! I could spend hours outside just smelling all the flowers! I could do without the harness but mom says it’s the only way I get to go out. I get a little jealous when mom pets other fur friends and sometimes have to tell them to step away, even if they are bigger than me. I’m pretty tough!

I also love snuggles with my parents, we spread out on the couch for a good afternoon nap together, and nothing could be better.

Mom says I’m really really smart, and says she has to keep me entertained. Mom has taught me how to high five, sit, and catch snacks in my mouth from across the room. She also makes me play with cat interactive toys, but I don’t mind cause it normally means a treat is involved, did I mention I love treats?!
