Dumpling was surrendered at birth. She was less than 200g. She was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, which is water on the brain. She also required syringe feedings in order to keep her alive. She stayed with her foster family until about eight months old and then we adopted her last April. She’s now a whopping 870 g and requires 2 to 3 syringe feedings a day. This is to keep her weight up because she’s so small. She takes some medication for her hydrocephalus and we have had no issues. She’s quite a normal Chihuahua and even has a instagram account with her rescued siblings. Because of her size and condition, she does require a family with experience and we’ve had a lot with senior rescues chihuahuas. We take her everywhere and everyone who meets her loves her. She’s just such a bright light and we are so grateful for her.
