Pet's Story or Bio
Adopted as Delilah in 2014, she was covered in mange, about 35lbs and converted to heartworm positive just after she arrived to our home. She was wild and hated being in a crate. We patched her up with lots of TLC and stern house rules. She quickly won our hearts. Everyone she met marveled at how this wild and crazy dog had become such a well behaved, very secure in her environment, indoor dog who no longer required crating. She quickly became my husbands constant companion for the 18 months he fought colon cancer. After he was gone, Lily was a great comfort to our two teenagers, Abigail & Charlie who adore her. She is now the bossy big sister of Bo, adopted by HBR as Pope. Cannot imagine life without these amazing, sweet, loyal, funny Boxers.
