Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Leia from a local rescue in Charlotte, NC 6 years ago. She was abandoned over the holidays, picked up as a stray, labeled aggressive (she was not dog social) in the shelter but thankfully sent to rescue. We had some serious issues with Leia in the beginning, but after our other boxer died of cancer, Leia became our only “child.” A behaviorist, a trainer, time, love and a move to TX has made her a completely different dog! She’s a straight up clown! Loves her toys now walks right up to other dogs to “talk” and even LOVES to swim after her “piggy!” We love our little girl Leia!
