Baby Story/Breastfeeding Story
I had a lot of trouble nursing Timothy. But luckily I also had a lot of support. I am very blessed that my mom is a lactation consultant and she helped me to make an individualized plan to work towards my goal of breastfeeding Timothy. Because of all the problems both Timothy and I had, I spend a long time being a primary pumper. While I was pregnant I started attending La Leche League meetings. Through these meetings I receive more knowledge about breastfeeding and support to continue to breastfeed. Because of the support I received from the ladies that run La Leche League of Fort Bend I continued to breastfeed Timothy and we are almost at 4 years because of their support. We have started our process of weaning and soon nursing will only be a fond memory.
