Baby Story/Breastfeeding Story
My babies were born in 2004 and 2007 and in a few days will start Middle and High School! I feel like it was just yesterday. The old saying is true...they grow up in the blink of an eye!? Breastfeeding was always something I planned to do. I never realized how hard it would be. Noah latched on and was a voracious eater and a big spitter!? He still eats every two hours at age 15 (but doesn’t spit up 😂...haha!). Haley didn’t latch well at first. After 2 years of breastfeeding Noah, I thought I knew what to do. I realized I needed help when my nipples were cracked and raw. I wish there had been a LLL group in Cairo, Egypt where we lived to help me! I read everything i could get my hands on and managed to finally be pain-free in the laid back and side-lying positions! We went on to nurse for 2.5 years. My babies still cuddle with me in their favorite baby feeding positions! I love the closeness that those years of breastfeeding gave us! ❤️🥰
