Breastfeeding Story
RJ was born at 36 weeks by emergency c-section. Our breastfeeding journey is paved with determination and perseverance. Due to his tongue and lip ties, he didn't latch until he was 7 weeks old and after mastitis tried to tank my supply. At 3 months old, his ties were reversed and we were finally able to nurse comfortably! Between going back to work and having to pump, battling low supply, and relearning each other through all this craziness, we have made it 7 months and counting. I'm thankful for my tribe of supporters and lactation consultants that helped us get to where we are today.
