Entries should include a photo of your baby. This photo can include family, be a Mommy and me photo, or a breastfeeding photo. Please include a short story about your breastfeeding experience. These photos and stories are to celebrate breastfeeding in the Houston area.
Houston Live, Love, Latch is a celebration for all Houston-area breastfeeding supporters on August 4th, 2018 at Southdown Park in Pearland (2150 Country Place Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584) from 10 AM-2 PM. Houston Live, Love, Latch is a free event hosted by La Leche League of Fort Bend. August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month. The date of the event this year is very special because it also falls during World Breastfeeding Week, an international effort to recognize the need to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding as an essential foundation of a healthy beginning to life. Houston Live, Love, Latch serves as a celebration for breastfeeding families and provides an opportunity to educate families, friends, health care providers, and other community members in the ways they can support breastfeeding. - Our contest will be from July 15th to Aug 4th.
- Please add your baby photo and share your breastfeeding story.
- All entries and votes must be submitted by Aug 4th at 1p.m. CST.
- There is a $5 minimum donation to submit a baby photo into the contest.
- Voting is $1 per vote.
- All donations are non-refundable.
- All proceeds from the Houston Live, Love, Latch- Baby Photo Contest will go to La Leche League of Fort Bend to help put on Houston Live, Love, Latch and to promote breastfeeding throughout the Houston area. La Leche League of Fort Bend is a nonprofit organization and your donation may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
- Don't forget to tell your family, friends and social media followers about the contest and the Houston Live, Love, Latch event and encourage them to vote for your photo!
- You must live in Houston area to win a prize.
- All photos must be digital and do not need to be professional.
- By submitting a photo to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer, or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer, to include the photo.
- Once entered, photo submissions become the property of La Leche League of Fort Bend to be used at our discretion for print and marketing purposes.
- La Leche League of Fort Bend reserves the right to remove photo entries that are inappropriate or do not follow the rules of the contest. If this happens, we will contact you to see if the photo can be replaced with a new one.
- The top 4 photos with the most votes will the winners. Winners will be announced at our Houston Live, Love, Latch event August 4th, 2018 at Southdown Park in Pearland (2150 Country Place Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584) at 1pm.
- Each winner will choose a prize. The photo with the most votes will go first. You must be present to choose the prize.
