Koko showed up in my backyard one day. She was thin and extremely skittish. I started feeding her, and after much patience and work, in 6 months I could pet her, a year I could pick her up. This little stray went from sneaking up on my patio at midnight to sleeping in my bed. Koko means "Night" in Native American (Blackfoot) perfect for the black and white cat who first visited at midnight.
