How Much Is The Entry Fee?
The entry fee is $25 per photo. This fee includes one copy of the full-color calendar that will be mailed to you in November. You can make an additional donation during the entry process that will count as votes toward your submitted picture(s). We estimate the value received per entry fee is $15. Therefore, of your $25 entry fee,
$10 may be considered a tax-deductible donation. All proceeds from contest entries will help us provide shelter and care for the homeless animals at the Houston SPCA.

You can enter as many as you want!
How Do I Enter The Contest Via Mail?
If you're mailing in your photo, we can accept 4" x 6" prints or larger, preferably in a horizontal format for design purposes. Mailed photos should be sent to the address below. Please include an entry form with your photo. Entry forms can be downloaded from our website at HoustonSPCA.org.

How Do I Vote For A Pet's Picture?
Votes are $1 each, with a minimum donation of $5 for five votes. All votes are tax-deductible. Yes, you can vote for your own pet's photo (and as many times as you and your friends and family want!). You may allocate each vote to the same picture or multiple pictures. How to vote by mail:
Make your check payable to Houston SPCA. Include a note with the check stating the pet's name and owner's name, and that you wish to apply your donation toward votes for them in the Pet Photo Contest. Please also include your phone number in case we have any questions. Mail the check and note to:

- Votes by mail must be received by 7 p.m. CT on November 9, 2017.
- Votes sent by mail will be counted on the Houston SPCA's website under the selected pet's photo.
Can I Drop Off My Entry Or Votes At Your Shelter?
Entries and votes may be dropped off in person at our Portway Drive Shelter no later than 1:00 p.m. CT on November 9, 2017.
When Will I Get My Calendar?
We will mail calendars mid-December 2017.
