Mingus was adopted from the Houston SPCA late last spring; he was part of a hoarding situation with 143 other cats that the SPCA saved. I volunteer at the shelter, and I just couldn't let him go home with anyone else! He was 4.5 lbs and unhealthy when I brought him home, even though he was over a year old. Now, he's over 10 lbs with a beautiful coat. Check out his extra toes!
