Why is your dog a hero?
Lola is an LAFD dog. She is a hero because she helped my three daughters get through the Pandemic at a time when they were all missing kindergarten, middle school and especially my oldest as she missed all her high school dances, lacrosse games, and activities. The kids were robbed of their experiences due to this horrible pandemic. I noticed as their father that all they were doing was playing on their tablets. I needed to do something about it. By chance I found Lola through a family friend. She has been a blessing to the girls. Before Lola, the kids had a hard time finding things to smile about. Now, they cant wait to get home to play with her. Not only do the girls play with Lola but they interact with each other much more. Lola has made a great difference in my girls. This is why she is a hero.
