Why is your dog a hero?
Deacon was adopted from a shelter after being listed as a "Critical Red Tag" and was scheduled to be euthanized due to aggressive behavior. 3 months after being adopted he was temperament tested to become a service dog and passed with flying colors!!

Fast forward through 2 and a half years of working as a Psychiatric Service Dog and this 165 lb floof is going to be headed into retirement in a few year and will be retrained for therapy dog work.

This Happiness Ambassador Extraordinaire is just looking to bring everyone some joy and happiness. You will never meet another dog quite like this guy who's only goal is to make sure that everyone around him is wearing a smile!
