Why is your dog a hero?
Skipper had a rough start in life. His owner was unable to care for him and left him in an unhealthy and uncaring situation. He was a scared and abused puppy. A military vet and friend found him and asked me to foster him. Skipper learned to trust me and became a social fun caring dog that soon became a permanent part of my life. As a first responder and Navy reservists, Skipper has brought me, my veteran and non veteran friends balance and joy. Regardless of his shaky beginning in life he, has overcome that being a sweet fun and silly dog. Win or not he's happy to contribute any little bit to LAFD!
