Why is your dog a hero?
This is our amazing dog Dakota also known as El Niño which means The kid in Spanish. Dakota is a three year old Belgian Malionis. One regular weekday Dakota went to go play in the slope we have in our backyard. He played with his dog friend a game of which they would run along the fence together. All of a sudden Dakota began to bark at his friend. We thought he was just barking at the other dog so we told him to stop. Dakota began to bark again but loudly and differently. The other dog's owner came outside to see what was going on and he saw Dakota's friend lying still on the grass. He quickly took the dog to the vet and he told us that their dog's stomach had twisted. He said that if Dakota hadn't gotten their attention their dog would have been dead. They later gave Dakota a dog bone as a thank you gift. This is why our dog is a hero.❤
