Why is your dog a hero?
Benny is a 1.5 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix. He has been through so much in his young 1.5 years. Benny is a SOS survivor. He has pulled through a very traumatic time when he was just one year old and everyday provides smiles, joy, happiness and laughter to me and everyone he meets. Benny has a calm, sweet and nurturing demeanor, he senses when people need more love, more attention, he is respectful of the elderly and disabled. Benny patiently waits for his meals, his mom to get up and he absolutely loves riding in the car, going shopping in his stroller, meeting new people and dogs, just about anyone seeing this special guy cannot help themself from petting him, asking about him and enjoying petting him. It was as if Benny was born to be a bundle of love and joy for others. Benny would be a great mascot for LAFD. Why? Because he is literally a hero just like a firefighter. Benny sports not only one mustache but two, plus a beard. His permanent smile from his underbite provides even more smiles to those around him. Choose Benny and Benny will surely live up to the plate in representing the LAFD.
