Why is your dog a hero?
Butters was a surrendered pup who found himself in a crowded East Valley Animal Shelter in April of 2021. Butters is a hero to his mom who was struggling with anxiety and depression when they met. She was working as a registered nurse during an unprecedented time in healthcare.
Besides being moms personal body guard, he is also her personal vacuum (making sure no crumbs are left behind). He enjoys hanging out with friends at his local dog park, eating jerky treats and chewing on squeaky toys. Butters has many talents but his most impressive feat is learning to use buttons to communicate his needs. He can’t wait to learn to tell everyone exactly what he’s thinking 😈 Butters is a good boy with a sweet heart. He loves just about anyone, especially those with treats 😉
