Why is your dog a hero?
Lasky is my hero, because both of our lives came to the point where we needed to transition to a new beginning. I lost my beautiful Pomeranian (Pom-Son) in the height of the 2020 pandemic and It left me traumatized and broken hearted!

Lasky’s loving family, adopted her from a pound and they began a journey to help Lasky begin to trust and overcome the trauma inflicted by her first owner’s. Due to the pandemic, they had to move to a place, that only allowed 1 dog. Lasky’s sister was a Senior, so they made the painful decision to put Lasky up for adoption.

I had spent months trying to adopt a pet, for various reasons it always fell through. Discouraged, I stopped trying and put it to prayer. One day, I saw Lasky in my feed and our personalities were a perfect fit! I applied and everything fell into place and we became a family! Her previous family were worried about the adoption but,
when we met, they were relieved because they knew she was going to be spoiled and loved. We still stay in touch with “Other Mother” and family.

Lasky and I, became each others hero, we were both dealing with loss and we found each other to LOVE which is the greatest power on earth.

Lasky is friendly, and loving to everyone, she the neighborhood walking ambassador, she makes her rounds and lets everyone pet her. At home, she likes to lay in the shower
