Why is your dog a hero?
How do I describe Sampson, our hero, in just a few words? It is not easy! Sampson is always happy, full of sweet energy, humor, and very social. He loves to be around people of all ages and abilities. Sampson is a patient and sensitive sidekick, particularly around our son with autism and special needs. He knows when things are “right” and when things are off — a true sense of inquisitiveness and a real protector. Sampson was a Howling Heroes runner up in 2022 and participated in various LAFD Foundation activities. Sharing Sampson with the heroic LAFD firefighters, staff, families, and our community brought our family such joy. We support Sampson when he says he would love to support LAFD and serve as the LAFD Mascot. Thank you for your consideration!
