Newman is a true hero because he brings boundless joy to everyone he encounters. Strangers on the street and motorists frequently pause just to catch a glimpse of his infectious charm. He came into my life when I was dealing with the loss of my golden retriever, and he hasn't left my side since, rescuing me from sadness with his unwavering companionship.

Not only is Newman a local sensation, but he's also a seasoned performer! He has appeared in commercials, photo shoots and recently in Ariana Grande's latest music video, We Can’t Be Friends! Despite his fame (and 75 pound size), he remains the smartest and most endearing dog I've ever known, embodying impeccable behavior at all times in public and at large events.

With his charisma and intelligence, Newman would be the ideal choice for the LAFD K9 Mascot role. It would be an absolute honor for him to represent the Los Angeles Fire Department in this capacity.
