Meet Indy—a German Shepherd/Husky mix with a spirit as wild and inspiring as the mountains he loves to explore. We rescued Indy in June 2022, but in truth, he rescued us right back. With boundless energy, sharp intelligence, and a deep well of loyalty, Indy lives every day like it’s the best day of his life. Whether he’s racing through alpine trails or urging us to take that much-needed mental health break, Indy reminds us to live fully, love unconditionally, and prioritize well-being. His favorite adventures take him into the heart of nature—like the photo we’re submitting, taken in the breathtaking peaks of Banff, Canada—where he’s in his element, ears perked, eyes wide, heart open.

Indy isn’t just a dog—he’s a four-legged coach, a stubborn (yet hilarious) motivator, and a constant reminder that joy can be found in a good run, a deep breath, and time spent with those you love. He’s the kind of friend who helps you be your best self just by being himself. And while he may not wear a uniform, his impact is heroic—offering companionship, emotional support, and a zest for life that lifts everyone around him.
