Lillian once aspired to be a racecar driver; she has since found a higher calling. Rescued eight years ago from the streets of San Pedro by wonderful people at Maeday Rescue, Lillian has come a long way. She is an official, highly trained service dog. She has been our steady co-pilot, going with us everywhere we go. She assists with driving. You may have seen her interviewed in the New York Times’ coverage of the preview opening of LACMA’s new Geffen Galleries.

Evacuated with us in the January fires, thus rescued yet again, she wishes to send out a resounding thank-you-bark-you to our firefighters for rescuing us all, every day.

And, that higher calling? Lillian rescues us every day.
