Remy should win because she will be a great ambassador for the Howling Heroes LA County Fire calendar. One look into her sweet eyes and you can sense that she is the happiest, most fun loving, caring, and playful dog. She loves people, she loves other dogs, and she loves a good treat. Remy patrols the LA river every day on our walks in Studio City, and greets everyone who meets her with a smile and multiple kisses.

Remy's therapeutic energy brings life to every room she enters into. I have trouble getting her back from dog sitters because everyone wants to keep her. Her friendly and stable temperament has helped rehabilitate other dogs to become more socialized and her calm demeanor has helped kids become more comfortable around dogs. She is a favorite among our local coffee shops and cafes, greeting the staff and customers with a smile while always allowing a good belly rub.

Her doggy DNA test says she is half Rottweiler mixed with Aussie cattle dog, Aussie shepherd, and a little American pit bull terrier.

Being a military veteran, she has been the greatest therapy dog I could have asked for. I got her at a rescue during Covid when she was just 8 months old. She is now 5 years old and she has been the one who has rescued me all these years. She has lived a wonderful life, going on amazing road trips, and bringing therapy to all she meets. I hope this calendar contest allows her to leave an everlasting impact by allowing to her to give back to the community that has helped raise and protect her.
