I believe Timber should win because, like fireman, he is a wonderful ambassador to the human connection. We rescued him inmate a gas station out of a brown box. The obvious runt of the litter and no where near the size of our beloved Pudge we were hoping to replace. No one could have guessed that he would turn into such a big lovable fur ball. Every one he meets wants to touch him, pet him or take a picture which he accommodates happily. He was the constant and best companion to my husband, the late L AFD battalion chief Kay. I thought I might lose Timber when Rick passed as he seemed lost in sadness. What actually happened was he has ended up getting me through my darkest times. He has so many attributes that mirror those of the firefighters I know and those I have never met. Brave, loyal , committed and strong. Playful too and adventurous. Not enough words to describe what a special animal he is and an angel in my life.
