My dog Oreo is sticking out his tongue to cancer! He is my hero because 2 months ago I was out of town when I wound up in an ER & was shocked with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis that had metastasized to other organs in my body. I immediately flew home & am undergoing treatments at The City of Hope in Irvine which I am grateful for & they are amazing but Oreo has been there for me every day & every night since I came home giving me love, kisses & cuddles which I desperately need right now. Oreo just turned 3 yrs. old & still has a lot of energy but even though he would rather be outside playing he cuddles with me at night & also for hours in the daytime especially when he senses I am having a tougher day or night with side effects from my treatments. He is emotionally getting me through this long journey which I just started with his unconditional love. I don’t yet know what my survival odds are but whatever happens my cute little fur son OREO WILL FOREVER be my HERO. Hero’s come in all different forms!!
