Ahsha is a native Angeleno, found wandering the streets of Compton. Despite her ruff roots she is the happiest girl when she sees any humans large or small, and everyone she meets tells her how pretty she is and she graciously gives kisses and hugs everytime they let her. Sometimes she scares parents pushing their little humans in strollers since she loves to try to run up and lick babies faces, she is gentle as a fly and yet if another dog comes around who’s vibe she doesn’t like she will heckle up and go on guard - a good reminder of boundaries which we all sometimes needs.

Like most of us she isn’t perfect, she’s working on being more understanding with other four legged but with humans she’s perfected loving to a God like ability. She’s goofy, playful and whenever she sees a fire truck she wants to jump on board.

Her grandpa was the Chief of the Southfield Michigan Fire department where they rescued dogs alongside of many humans. She’s a big fan of humans in uniforms serving and protecting; she’d be super happy taking photos with them and making a calendar to support raising funds, these fire fighters never get a break, we have had endless fires it feels and they’re always kind, even joking around often, we see them every week in our neighborhood and they’re always smiling somehow. They risk their lives to keep us safe and while Ahsha won’t run into a burning building, she will gladly give love to every human and extra love to those running in when we all would run out.

We want to support our fire firefighters in every way we can and be part of these incredible humans lives.
