In 2004 I was the 'lucky' one. I reached out to Cleo Sterling to find me a rescue dog. Lucky's owner needed to re-home him as she was going to assisted living and the daughter had called Cleo to find Lucky a home. We had to work on a few of Lucky's 'manners', and in no time he had settled in and for 11 years he was the perfect companion and best buddy. He was so smart, it was overwhelming at times. I miss him terribly to this day, but count my blessings that I had 11 great years to share with Lucky.
