Why is your dog the Best in Brew?
Paisley (formerly known as Mamba) was adopted from Kansas City Retired Greyhounds as Pets in summer 2019, though she never raced on a track. She may have been a working dog on a farm or used as a coyote decoy for hunters. Since then, she has learned to trust humans and to socialize with other dogs. Her sweet disposition and emotional intelligence make her a stellar example of how animal adoption can change lives, for both dogs and their forever friends. Paisley is a fairly recent transplant to Winooski, Vermont and has become a regular at Four Quarters, where she even watched the solar eclipse in 2024. Not the smartest, nor the fastest, nor even the most talented hound, Paisley is the Best in Brew because she has a beautiful spirit, and she can use her brown eyes to brighten your day, make you smile, or melt your heart.

What does your dog love best about you?
I am a good travel companion who enjoys hikes, car rides, and walks to Four Quarter's for beer, fresh air, sunshine, and community.

If your dog were a kind of beer, which would they be and why?
Brown ale. This style of beer is the same color as my dog's eyes and, like the English Greyhound, traces its roots back to England.
