Cat's Story or Bio
In 2021, our family decided we were ready to open our hearts and home up to a new feline friend after 13 years of doting on our old rescued gal (cat), Ruby. Our (then 3-year-old) orange-haired daughter, whose favorite color is orange, declared she wished for an "orange-haired cat brother". We knew our mission: to try and find the perfect orange cat "brother" from a local VT shelter. Several meet-and-greets later, we found our boy at Homeward Bound in Middlebury. Mac was then a 1-year-old cat brought North from a shelter "in the South" and returned by his family for unknown reasons. It was love at first sight, and we haven't stopped loving him for one second since. He has undoubtedly completed our family! One of his "chirps" and his smiley face (pictured above) will melt the heart of even the most staunch cat anti-enthusiasts!
