How we met
Charley picked me at HSCC! I didn't see him and almost walked by his enclosure. He reached through and tapped on my foot to get my attention. I adopted him during the pandemic and he was, and still is, the best companion. And a very good boy.

What is the best trick your pet has taught you?
Charley has taught me to fetch. He's great at chasing the ball, just not so great at bringing it back. I think it's his secret ploy to get me to exercise.

What is the strangest thing about your pet
It's a little frightening, but Charley "talks" in his sleep. Have you ever imagined what creepy dolls in scary movies sound like? That's exactly it!

Does your pet have a favorite toy or activity?
During our first trip to the pet store, Charley picked out a bumblebee squeaky toy. It's his favorite; he sleeps with it every night and plays with it first thing every morning. Two plus years and bumblebee is still going strong.
