Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
I had to put my 13 year old beagle down in April this year and was so broken, feeling as if I would never find another one quite like her. I started looking for another petite female beagle and almost gave up. But, then came across Lilly (new name) on the HSC site the first day she became available for adoption in May. I went to see her immediately, and she came home with me that day! Her previous owners had dropped her at Animal Control because they were moving. Lilly is sweet, loving, and so funny. She deserves to win Top Dog for the Rescue Brew contest because she is beautiful (and quite photogenic), but mostly because we rescued each other! She has a new home, and I was fortunate to have found her during a time of great loss and sadness. Lilly is perfect!
