Baby Nub is a 19+ year old Feral Manx Mix cat (see the nub tail?). She and her 5 siblings lived outside in the cold, heat, rain, snow and storms, but were fed daily by a nice lady and had makeshift houses for shelter. Thanks to Friends of Feral Felines and their “mom” they were TNR’d (Trapped, Neutered and Returned (see the left clipped ear?) at 6 mos old. At one year old 4 of them (2 went missing during that year) were relocated to my home. Once again, thanks to the help of FFF loaning me the cages to complete the relocation. At 3 or 4 years old I finally coaxed them to spend the night inside and later they decided the inside life wasn’t so bad after all. They stayed inside from then on and became quite tame. Baby Nub is the only one from the litter still alive. She is 19 years and 4 mos. old and is as spry as ever. She loves to sit on our lap and gets lots of rubbing. Life inside for this former feral cat is awesome!!! Especially one to make it 19 years and counting!!! She's the best little "Baby" ever.

BTW….her feral siblings lived to be 8, 18 and 19.
