Elmer is a Carolina Boxer Rescue Alumni that was my Foster now forever boy. He has been with me just under a year. He is the epitome of what rescue is. A neglected boy used for breeding his whole life that was tossed away when no longer useful, became my hearts biggest treasure. He has become one of the faces of our rescue, my pup I take to all local events (he’s been to you drink we donate at Noda twice), and is the kindest and gentlest old soul. When I share Elmers story at events, sharing about the horrible health he was in when we picked him up from the shelter and they see where he is now, folks are amazed! My Elmer is why adopting seniors is soul food and he is for sure my beer drinking brewery buddy!
