On January 18th, 2019 I saw a plea from Freedom Farm Rescue to save this girl from being euthanized that day. She was scheduled to be euthanized because the shelter was full and she had a broken leg.
Magnolia (Maggie) Mae endured many struggles her first six months with us. In short, Maggie Mae had a severe broken leg, double ear infections, pneumonia, AND surprised us with being pregnant!
Through the struggles, Maggie Mae still took care of her puppies and helped get them ready to find their loving homes.
Maggie Mae officially became a member of our family in June 2019. She helps with our foster puppies and kittens have a better chance in finding a home by showing love and socializing them.
Maggie Mae should win because this picture perfectly shows, through her struggles, she is still determined to live and love!
