Lucy came to us 5 months ago. When we rescued her she weighed 3 pounds, she was matted and filthy. She had no lower jaw and only 8 teeth which all needed to be pulled. 5 months, 3 extra lbs and 8 rotten teeth later and she is living her best life. She goes EVERYWHERE with us. She has made me her person and I am beyond blessed for that. She loves experiencing the world, the beach, flea markets, restaurants, parks..etc. Everyone she meets LOVES her, they ask a lot of questions about her looks and her past and that’s ok! We love telling her story of strength and spreading awareness about how amazing the “rescue breed” is.
