Stella Mae was one of 36 Australian Sheperds rescued in one of the worst hoarding situations in Roxboro, NC, back in December 2019. We adopted her at 8 months old. When we went to the HSC. Our intention was focused on another of the rescues from that situation. We were directed to Stella, previously known as Koala. She was so under weight and lived in a cage her entire life. It was love at first sight on both ends. When people meet her they can't believe her story because she is the most loving animal we have ever met. People who are not fond of dogs, actually enjoy her company! She loves unconditionally, loves her unicorn pillow, is a huge love bug, and has taught us humans how to be patient. She is truly a diamond in the rough!
