Aasim ( Ghanaian for" protector") came to us a little over 2 years ago. My daughter's schoolmate owned him but because of a full work schedule could not care for him. We'd just lost our beloved Bella a few months earlier and my daughter was really struggling with the loss. She thought rescuing Aasim and giving him a home that he deserves was better than the possibility of ending up in a dog fighting ring. Plus it helped her deal with her grief. Aasim is the biggest baby EVER!!! Very sociable and wants everyone to be his friend. But he LOVES spending time with his Grand Paw. Walks in the dog park, learning to walk without his leash, listening to music together, playing fighting and watching Paw bake cakes!!! He's a sweet dog and we are blessed to have him!
