We took this picture of Max the day we met him at a kill shelter in Indiana. His personality and joy for life were on full display and it was immediately clear to us that we weren't leaving without him by our side. Max became part of our family and helped to keep us grounded through many major life changes such as our move to Charlotte and the birth of our two children. Little did we know that day back in Indiana how lucky we were that Max chose us to spend his life with. He brought so much love and happiness to our family over the years. We said goodbye to Max this week as he passed away at the age of 14. We will be forever grateful for the time we had with him and will always be thinking of him. In the meantime what better way to remember your best friend then to put their face on an excellent local brew! Until we meet again Maxi! Cheers!
