Buster was adopted at 4 months old with a rare oral cancer. It was surgically removed, but we found out later that it was not completely removed and will eventually obstruct his airway. After driving the southeast seeing the best specialists, looking for anyone to tell us what we wanted to hear, we concluded that there were no viable treatment options. He was given months to live in February 2021, but he won’t give up.

He is the happiest, most loving, and special dog ever. We’ve been living his best life and going on adventures, calling it “Buster’s Bucket List.” He may not have long, but what he does have will be epic. There’s no better Bucket List item than winning this contest and supporting Humane Society of Charlotte at the same time.
