Apollo is one of 50 dogs who was rescued from a deplorable hoarding situation in Chesterfield Co, SC, in September of 2021. One of 5 dogs that the Humane Society of Union County pulled from that situation, Apollo was dealing with mange, malnourishment and lack of trust with humans. We began fostering him immediately in our home with our other 3 dogs and over the course of several months he began to come out of his shell! Apollo began to thrive with his fur-siblings and in December we officially adopted him! He was the BEST Christmas gift ever! Today Apollo continues to work with his trainer to build confidence, had quite the wardrobe and is definitely living his best life! We love him to pieces and he is a testament to the fact that ‘Rescues Save Lives!’ Please vote for this brave boy!!
