Stella was found on the side of a Fayetteville NC highway as a puppy and picked up by a local shelter. From there she was pulled by the Wilmington Humane Society. Stella was adopted by a UNCW student and then re-homed to us through our son’s friend at UNCW. Our son had been babysitting her a lot and fell in love, and his friend was soon to be moving and couldn’t take her. Her DNA is lab/golden/English Shepherd and 10% Coyote (tested twice)!
Seen in this pic is Stella with a sandy face because she loves the beach and loves to jump the waves. Watch out though, because she’ll steal your beach chair in a split second! Stella loves it when my son’s college friends come back to visit as she believes she’s one of them, having spent so much time at UNCW college apartments.
Summertime is a great time to drink cold beer on the beach and Stella’s Sandy face proves that she’ll be right there beside you while you enjoy!
