Mrs. Maisel was surrendered to CMPD because she couldn't use her back legs. Our rescue, Naughty Donkey Farm Sanctuary, wanted to give Mrs. Maisel a second chance.

We quickly discovered that Mrs. Maisel is a strong, spirited little spitfire who has big opinions and a zest for life. Although she can walk a little, a wheelchair boosts her mobility and helps her move faster, which is important when she's chasing chickens or running the fence line and barking at the delivery drivers.

Mrs. Maisel should be the face of Rescue Brew because she represents all of the special needs dogs who deserve safe, loving homes and a chance to live their best lives according to their unique abilities--and also because we don't want to make her mad; she is hell on wheels when she doesn't get her way.
