We found this stray dog living on the beach of St. Lucia. He had barely any food or water and yet every time we visited him on the beach he was happiest dog ever. His tail would wag and he would look at us with those unique eyes he has. We could not let this special dog live his life wondering where his next meal may come from. It wasn't easy, but my husband found a way to fly him to the states two weeks after we left the island. Piton's happy go lucky personality hasn't changed and it has touched everyone who enters our home. He is eager to give and receive love. Piton's positive attitude about life through hard times and good times inspires us daily. If we could all live and love like Piton does the world would be a much better place! That is why Piton (Pete) should win the Rescue Brew contest. I am not sure if we rescued Pete or he rescued us!
