Hi, I’m Merf! My life started out a little rough because I didn’t have a family and I got really sick but then some awesome people found me (thank you Critter Connection), fixed me up, and found me my forever home. Now I have the best life! I wake up and immediately start yelling until someone feeds me, because I’m the boss. I’m a sous chef by day, I monitor everything that happens in the kitchen. I get treats for doing the weirdest things like spinning in circles, rolling over, or going to grab a ball that my parents accidentally throw across the yard over and over. The toughest part of my day is that I have to start reminding my parents 2-3 hours before it’s time for dinner or they might forget. I love long walks through Charlotte when we go brewery hopping because I get to smell all the things, sometimes I find chicken wing bones on the ground (my parents don’t like that though), and people love petting me. I also always make sure to get my recommended 12-14 hours of sleep per day, so I am a very busy guy.
