Tica is a 12 year old Chorkie. She has the biggest brown eyes paired with her undeniable “special size” ears. Once you meet her, you’ll never forget her.

She was found wondering the streets when she was 5. She was very thin at the time weighing only 3 lbs. She’s definitely a mama. She was showered with love from her foster father until we became her forever home.

She’s shy and a bit socially awkward. She’s still learning to play. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her mama. And also loves to go on daily walks and soak up the sunshine on the patio. We continue to help her with her separation anxiety. Everyday is something new. She recently found her voice (thank you doorbell) and enjoys “protecting” us from the couch. She is also getting close to rolling over to scratch her back in the grass (although she has been trying for 7 years).

She is our mini guard dog and we are so grateful she rescued us! She lights up the room as soon as you see her… her tail wagging warms our hearts. And she is our light at the end of everyday. She is why we rescue!
