We picked up Griffin from the Gaston County Shelter and he was urine-soaked and COVERED in hundreds of fleas. We planned to foster him and failed miserably when we fell in love immediately and he fell asleep in our arms in the bed the first night. He has been smiling ever since we got him. His tail never stops wagging and some part of his body has to be touching us at all times. :)
